Dori’s World: Michael Fuchs Surprise Birthday Party
The Michael Fuchs Special Committee threw the man himself a surprise birthday party along with his fiancee Alvina Collardeau and his friend Josh Pickard. It was co-hosted by Doug and Agatha Teitelbaum at their stunning penthouse overlooking NYC.
The delicious food was catered by Daniel Boulud and since Michael is originally from Frankfurt, Germany, the waitresses and waiters were dressed in sexy drindl and trachts as a nod to his home country.
Also at the party, was a special performance by the fabulous Lady Rizo who is a regular at The Darby.
Lucky guests included John and Joyce Varvatos, Andre Balazs, Vito Schnabel, Ronnie Madra, Abbey Rosen and Samantha Boardman, Serena Boardman, Serge Becker, Alberto Mugrabi, Dennis Paul, Ric Pipino, Bill Thompson and Elsie McCabe, John MacDonald, Annelise Peterson, Nina Runsdorf and Michael’s daughter Laura Fuchs.
As a special treat, Doug Teitelbaum became a mixologist for the night as he came up with a cocktail in Michael’s honor, with some of his favorite flavors, named”The Sexy MF.” Check out the recipe.
