Haute Event:Tinsley Mortimer at Mackenzie Child’s “Fantasy on 57th”

In New York, the holidays are well underway. Fifth Avenue has already begun it’s Christmas extravaganza ascent with the launch of Bendel’s, Barney’s, and Bergdorf’s windows having already launched or in the works. One holiday decor staple, if we know anything, is Mackenzie Child’s. The luxe home furnishings of the twenty-something year old brand scream classic Christmas with a little bit of a whimsical flair.

Last night, Mackenzie Child’s hosted their “Fantasy on 57th” holiday experience, where guests  previewed the collection before the hype truly begins. By hype we mean, those determined Black-Friday goers, you know who you are.

Party goers enjoyed warm cider, wine, and a slew of savories while taking in activities such as profile portraits and a little DIY painting of their own. One guest particularly in the Christmas spirit was New York’s reigning socialite, Tinsley Mortimer. She was joined by her on again, off again boyfriend, Brian Mazza. The couple were spotted picking out both classic Courtly Check and new Parchment Check pieces from Mackenzie’s legendary line.
