Daniel Boulud is making Thanksgiving easy this year with his first-ever Thanksgiving takeout menu. A fourteen-pound free-range turkey is the star of the show, accompanied by a decadent chestnut and cornbread stuffing, a few of the usual sides, butternut-squash soup and whole-grain pumpkin bread. Pies (maple-pumpkin, apple-crumble, and chocolate-pecan) are optional extras and cost $36 a piece. The entire meal can feed up to 10 people and costs $395 – a reasonable price considering all the money, time and energy that goes into a large Thanksgiving meal. This fancy feast must be ordered before November 19 through Épicerie’s new online shop.
