THE SCENE: Official After Party of the 2011 Emmy Awards

The 2011 Governors Ball, the official Emmy after party, was held this year in the Los Angeles Convention Center’s West Hall. The theme of the evening was elegant whimsy, with black and white chairs, gold accents and impressive chandeliers. Likewise, Hollywood’s elite looked stunning in the newly-renovated theater, dining on fancy fare courtesy of Patina Catering of Patina Restaurant Group.

Heidi Klum, who entered the gala arm in arm with her equally gorgeous husband Seal, looked ethereal in a strapless beige gown with floral detailing. Other notable guests included the award-winning cast of Modern Family, funny man Joel McHale,Emmy host Jane Lynch, the stunning Minka Kelly, the cast of Glee and an adorable ZooeyDeschanel dressed in a lovely pink frock.

Guests partied late into the night with champagne flutes and martini glasses in hand. Seats stayed empty as the stars walked around the room to congratulate each other and show off their fabulous attire. Lynch made her way through the crowd gracefully with a big smile on her face and made sure to touch base with nearly everybody.
