S.T.A.Y. Restaurant Opening at Shangri-La Hotel, Beijing
Shangri-La Hotel, Beijing, an exclusive member of the The Haute Hotel Network, debuted a new restaurant on September 16. S.T.A.Y ., which stands for “Simple Table Alleno Yannick”, is a restaurant inspired by a new interpretation of communal and interactive dining. The menu is fine dining with a French flare and the flavors are to die for. The layout of the restaurant is particularly innovative; the restaurant is split up into three areas/eating experiences: the main room, communal table and pastry library.
The main room is nicely decorated with cozy tables for romantic dinners while the large communal table offers a traditional French way of eating that offers guests a lovely social experience. And perhaps sweetest of all is the pastry library , modeled after a French patisserie, which allows guests to interact with the pastry chef firsthand. Even the tableware is special! Certain plates were handcrafted and designed for the restaurant.
