
Dukes gets new restaurant and chef
Michelin starred chef Nigel Mendham has joined Dukes to oversee the hotel’s new restaurant Thirty Six by Nigel Mendham.
Michelin starred chef Nigel Mendham has joined Dukes to oversee the hotel’s new restaurant Thirty Six by Nigel Mendham, named for the number symbolising good luck in Chinese astrology and for the hotel’s address, 36 Little St James’s Street.
Expect to find modern British food such as salt marsh lamb sticky ribs, braised shank and caramelised shallot, butternut fondant and ossobucco, lemon sole, langoustine tortellini, carrot puree and hazelnut crumb on the menu.
Starters will include scallops and smoked eel while the pudding menu boasts brulee, iced cream cheese and spiced walnuts and a choice of British cheeses.
