A new bakery has just opened in New York City’s trendy West Village neighborhood and customers are already lining up around the corner for these fresh baked treats. Doughboy Bake Shop, located at 535 Hudson street, is an American style bakery that offers everything from flakey pies to traditional chocolate chip cookies to locally roasted coffee and everything in between. Chocolate Bar founder Alison Nelson along withVanessa Perry Keefe and head baker Noelle Ridings are the names behind this sweet eatery and all the love they’ve poured into this project shows in every yummy bite.

The interior of the bakery is equally as impressive as the fare and decorated in honor of the U.S. Soldiers that fought in WWI. Recycled wood, antique oval frames, legionnaire flags, artillery boxes and cast iron army men give the space a shabby chic feel – emphasis on chic. They even have authentic WW1 Zippo and Trench lighters available for purchase!

Make your way downtown for a sweet bite at this all-American eatery!
