My favorite time of the year is descending upon us…Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Thanksgiving, Fall Foliage…and Spa Week. Spa Week pretty much seals the deal for me in making Fall trumping the holidays as “The Hap-Happiest Season of All…”
Founded by Cherly Reid of Spa Week Media Group, Ltd, Spa Week is that glorious week each year when participating spas offer certain full service treatments, normally ranging from $75-$500, for $50.
This year Spa Week Fall 2011 will take place from October 10-16th and will include 800 spas and wellness centers across North America. Services that are discounted vary by spa, but range from massages to eyelash extensions to Botox. And while most might think that services offered skew female, you might want to think again. Almost one-third of total spa-goers are male. So there is an entire array of services available including hot shaves and gentleman facials. There is even a golf ball massage for those men who might need an extra ounce of masculine enticement to get them into a spa.
