Financier Leon D. Black celebrated his 60th birthday with the ultimate blowout bash at his oceanfront estate in Southampton last Saturday night. At the multimillion-dollar party guests enjoyed a buffet dinner of seared foie gras, crab cakes and steaks and enjoyed a performance by Sir Elton John himself.  Sir John, reportedly performed the hour and a half gig for $1 million and sang “Your Song,” “Benny and the Jets,” “Candle in the Wind” and finally “Crocodile Rock.”  The star-studded guest list of 200 included: Vera Wang, who tweeted about dressing Debra Black (Black’s wife and her very good friend), Michael R. Milken, Drexel Burnham Lambert, Julian H. Robertson Jr., Lloyd C. Blankfein, Goldman Sachs, Stephen A. Schwarzman, Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, Senator Charles E. Schumer, Martha Stewart and Howard Stern.
