Gilt City Hamptons House Kicks Off First Event with Scotto Sunday Supper

Summer may be starting to wind down but the haute events in the Hamptons are just heating up with the start of the very first Gilt City Hamptons House.
The first in an exciting event series, the Scotto family – Marion, Rosanna, Anthony, Elaina, and John, who will host a “Scotto Sunday Supper” based on their popular cookbook of the same name, Scotto Sunday Suppers and Other Fabulous Feasts: Creative Entertaining for Every Occasion.
The family, owners of Fresco by Scotto in Manhattan, will present a four-course family-style dinner with wine pairings on Sunday August 14th from 6:30 – 9:00pm. The event, hosted by Melitta Coffee, still has tickets available for $75 and proceeds will benefit the East Hampton Food Pantry.
Taking place outdoors at the 6,000 square-foot Gilt City Hamptons House, guests will dine family-style and begin their dinner with assorted salumi, cheese and crostini before moving onto the main courses, Italian eggplant and beef short ribs, oven-roasted tomatoes and slow-cooked pork shoulder, and the restaurant’s famed pasta with “Sunday Sauce.”
The Gilt Hamptons House will feature many exclusive events throughout the summer, including dinners and barbecues prepared by the country’s best chefs, poolside cocktail parties, hands-on cooking sessions and more.
For more info on the Scotto’s Sunday Supper, visit the Hamptons House website here: http://www.giltcity.com/newyork/sundaysauce.
In addition to supper, each ticket purchased grants access to the Tribeca Films Sunday Feature “Ultrasuede” immediately following the dinner (9-11pm at the Hamptons House).
