The Peninsula Beverly Hills Celebrates 20 Years with an Elegant Renovation
The Peninsula Beverly Hills, the only AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Five Star hotel in Southern California for 18 consecutive years, is turning 20 this year. For this milestone, the hotel has been given a complete renovation. All 193 rooms, including 36 suites and 16 garden villas, have been elegantly redone while maintaining the hotel’s original luxurious and relaxing atmosphere.
The picturesque property has drawn clients time and again to its gorgeous grounds. The hotel’s refurbishment features enchanting designs by L.A. based interior design firm ,Forchielli Glynn LLC, which has also designed for hotels like Four Seasons Resort Hualalai in Hawaii and the Miraval Resort in Tuscon. The new design boasts custom-made furnishings, carpeting, and case goods to suit the hotel’s quietly luxurious feel, while garden-print fabrics, warm tones, canopied beds, and honey-toned woods create a tropical, haven-like atmosphere that is perfect for relaxing.
Their luxurious villas are nestled in the property’s breathtaking gardens and have been given a fresh new look as well. In addition to new furnishings, carpeting, and wall coverings, the fireplaces have been redesigned with limestone hearths and Louis XV-style mantles, creating a very elegant homey feel. Four of the Peninsula’s grandest suites have also been incredibly redone, but they will not be unveiled until later in the year.
