Save the Date: Todd Reed Trunkshow at Altered Space Gallery on Abbot Kinney

News | April 27, 2011

Up until now, Jewelry designer/sustainable practitioner Todd Reed has stuck to icing some pretty famous fingers, including those of Mrs. Obama. But, from May 6 through May 7, thanks to Abbot Kinney’s intimate Altered Space Gallery, anyone can try on (and purchase) the Colorado-based artist’s innovative treasures with their own two hands at an upcoming trunkshow.

Known for using only “bloodless” diamonds discovered in North American mines, Reed excels in producing unmatched creations by using both vintage rose cut and trademark raw stones. With the development of five lines—signature, vintage, modern, bridal, and men’s—over a span of two decades, the environmentally sound designer has cultivated a niche of his own; one of understated elegance as opposed to elaborate glitz.

In addition to trying on his menagerie of rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and cufflinks, guests  can call ahead and arrange for a private expert consultation with Reed’s head goldsmith, Kim Carpenter.

RSVP and/or book an appointment by calling 310.452.8121 or sending an email to AlteredSpaceGallery@gmail.com.

Altered Space Gallery is located at 1221 Abbot Kinney Blvd.
