Haute Estates: Miami Designer Donald J. Pliner Lists $24 Million Estate
Eccentrics Donald and Lisa Pliner have already eradicated a portion of majority interest in their own company, their Los Angeles pied-a-terre is currently on the market for $1.7 million, but now, so is their 10,000-square-foot mansion on the exclusive Star Island where such celebrities as Shaquille O’Neal, Will Smith, Rosie O’Donnell, Madonna, Alex Rodriguez, Diddy, and Sylvester Stallone have called home at some point.
Donald Pliner is most popular for western inspired and animal print shoes. The Pliner’s elaborate and opulent sense of style translates into their eclectic diggs through their collection of global art and exotic furniture. The Moroccan-style architecture of this waterfront estate enjoys the island-setting’s indigenous amenities such as a dock, wide water-frontage, which can host up to a 100-foot yacht, and a swimming pool with unending views of the Miami’s blue oceans and inspiring skyline. You can call this palatial four-bedroom estate home for a cool $24 million dollars.
