Haute Event: Olivia Palermo Attends Mango Fashion Show in Moscow

Uber-chic high street brand Mango threw a fantastic show last night in Moscow’s art centre Vetoshniy. It also provided us with celebrity-packed front row. But the main star of the night was Olivia Palermo. As representative and model for the brand, Olivia specially flew to Moscow to represent new Spring/Summer collection; she was accompanied by her handsome boyfriend Johannes Huebl (unsurprisingly also Mango ambassador). The 24-year-old American socialite found fame in reality television show “The City” and is renowned for her flawlessly chic appearance.

Olivia and other illustrious guest were draped in Mango latest creations. Miss Palermo looked polished in leopard print dress accessorized with tangerine shoes. And the anticipated show became the culmination of fashionable evening.

Mango new collection is called Modernist Resort (actresses Scarlett Johansson is the face of the campaign), the brand is opting for a clean, modernist look with the emphasis on simple lines and minimalist silhouettes.

The quest for this clean and modernist look is also reflected in the colour palette. Models posed on the catwalk in bright lemon, green mint skirts, watermelon pink and nude gowns. That mischievous combination gave the collection a utilitarian luxe look.

Other global celebrities expected in Russian capital this week are designers Dominico Dolce and Stefano Gabanna (Dolce&Gabanna) and Italian actresses Monica Belucci. Haute Living will certainly keep you updated on their visit!
