Hautels: Hotel Breakwater Reopens in South Beach
Miami Beach’s Hotel Breakwater, the swanky oceanfront boutique resort will be opening it’s newly multi-million dollar renovated doors this coming spring. The new parent company, Jordache Jeans will keep the overall look and feel of the hotel very South Beach with ultra posh embellishments, making this Art Deco property one not to miss.
Regional Hotel Director Axel Gasser said recently in a statement that “Hotel Breakwater is much more than a chic destination,” acknowledging that this hotel is packed with quite a mighty punch, to give its guests a upscale experience. “We aim to provide our guests with an unfiltered lifestyle experience that goes beyond anything tangible. Our concierges, or ‘Magicians,’ as we like to call them, along with several other programs unique to the property, help us achieve our goal of making each individual’s wishes – no matter how big or small – come true. This is what we call our 100% Wish Guarantee.”
The hotel was built back in 1939 by Yugoslavian-born architect Anton Skislewicz. Now that it has been renovated people will be able to witness the unveiling of 100 guest rooms and suites with all the modern fixings to give very contemporary Miami flavor, while providing scenic views of South Beach or the ocean. There are also private penthouses that will be available that come with living rooms, stunning views and some even have plunge pools on the terrace.
There are plenty of places to play at the Hotel Breakwater like the rooftop Intimissi Lounge with day beds, plush seats and gorgeous views. There is also the Wellness Garden which is a relaxing sanctuary where guests can indulge in poolside massages or take a snooze under the cabanas.
