TONIGHT: Local Photojournalist Debuts First Solo Show at Butter Gallery in Wynwood

Join other art aficionados for the opening of Jipsy‘s first solo exhibition at Butter Gallery in the Wynwood Arts District. Jipsy, also known as the Nefarious Girl, made a name for herself as a haute nightlife photographer back in 2002, exposing the true face of Miami’s pulsating nightlife. Just As You Were is her first solo exhibition curated from thousands of nightlife photos shot from 2005 onwards.

She has shot numerous celebrities like Juliette Lewis, David LaChapelle, and Lara Coppola Estefan and her work has appeared in various publications like MIAMI Magazine and Women’s Wear Daily. The exhibit opens to the public tonight at 7 p.m. at Butter Gallery and guests will enjoy complimentary cocktails by Zignum Mezcal as well as Champagne and wine.

The exhibit opens in time for March’s Second Saturday Art Walk and runs through Saturday, April 2; It will be open to view Tuesday through Saturday from noon – 6 p.m.
