Komen for the Cure®, the world’s leading breast cancer organization, announced today its inaugural “Pink Passions Auction.” The auction – powered by charitybuzz, the leading destination for luxury online charity auctions – is comprised of an unprecedented collection of designer fashion, accessories and home décor items, as well as exclusive beauty treatments, experiences and extravagant trips. The world’s top fashion and accessories brands have come together to donate exclusive pink items to raise funds in support of the research and community-based services provided by Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Participating brands include: Oscar de la Renta, Hermes, Manolo Blahnik, Valentino, Michael Kors, Badgley Mischka, Tiffany & Co, Bulgari, Kara Ross, Judith Ripka, St. John, Tory Burch, Guiseppi Zanotti, Valentino, Versace and Jimmy Choo.
The auction features more than 50 lots and a variety of one-of-a-kind pieces, including a pair of Manolo Blahnik “Hangisi” pink satin pumps with crystal accents, a Michael Kors “Skorpios” blush python tote, a Tiffany & Co. “Holly” sea rose glazed crocodile clutch, a Judith Ripka ring featuring frosted rose quartz with pink diamonds and sapphires set in 18kt gold, an Oscar de la Renta pink crepe day dress and a Badgley Mischka pink print silk caftan with beaded embellishments.
