L.A. Live to Welcome the Ritz Carlton & JW Marriot in 2010
LA Live is an ever-evolving destination for all the best in entertainment, sports, and dining, and as an extremely welcome revenue magnet for the city of Los Angeles, LA Live will be welcoming a new revenue-attracting property in 2010: The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles and JW Marriot all in one.
LA Live features copious amounts of choices when it comes to how visitors can enjoy their day, with plenty of places to eat, see, watch a movie or show, or even enjoy a fantastic sports game in the infamous Staples Center. Lucky Strike Bowling is just across the street, as well as Katsuya sushi and many other very famous LA venues. When it comes to location, LA Live has got it spot on.
In 2010, LA Live will be welcoming a new 54-story, glass tower that will house a JW Marriot in the lower portion of the building with 878 rooms and suites. In the top floors, The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles will feature 123 rooms and suites in addition to 224 private residences starting at $1.4 million.
The new dual-hotel/condo development will also feature seven restaurants and bars, some of which will span out into the pedestrian area on the ground floor of the tower, and others located high up in the sky on one of the twin rooftops. There will also be an upscale, full-service spa and 6,000 combined square-footage of workout space.
The JM Marriot will feature an Illy Coffee Bar, a lobby lounge called Glance, a mid-level Mixing Room, and a full-service restaurant called LA Market. The Ritz-Carlton will feature a rooftop restaurant with an unnamed celebrity chef that will include a private dining room, wine cave, and an outdoor bar area.
