Four Legged Friends Take over Harrod’s “Dogwalk”

News | December 1, 2009

Last week, Harrod’s, one of the most famous London department stores in the world, held its annual Pet-a-Porter fashion show featuring adorable dogs strutting the runway in looks by designers such as Roberto Cavalli and Vivienne Westwood.

Harrod’s is one of the most well-known luxury department stores in the world, and last week the iconic London mega-store held its annual Pet-a-Porter fashion show featuring man’s best friends. The dogs pranced down the runway fashioning fun and festive designs by big-name designers such as Roberto Cavalli and Vivienne Westwood. Each furry friend was accompanied by a model also dressed for the occasion.

The dog-friendly event is in its seventh year, and was celebrated with a reception and a charity raffle. Harrod’s is known for being the department store that has everything—and clearly these exclusive and luxurious puppy designs are no exception. If nothing else, the event was a great way to spend the day surrounded by playful costumes and fantastic retail, and, of course, including a charity component is usually a safe way of ensuring a great turnout.
