Snoopy Turns 60 in Style

News | November 26, 2009

Beloved comic strip dog, Snoopy, is turning 60 years old in 2010 and to gear up for the celebrations, some of the most famous and respected fashion houses have designed exclusive outfits for the adorable dog.

Adored Peanut’s comic strip dog, Snoopy is turning sixty years old in 2010 and to celebrate, some of the most powerful and influential fashion houses have designed outfits for Snoopy to celebrate in haute style.

Original costumes were designed by Japan Fashion Week participants such as G.V.G.V, and global brands such as Chanel, Hermes, Balenciaga, DVF, Givenchy, Karl Lagerfeld, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Chloé. From October 22 to 29 the designs were displayed at Time & Time Style Galleria 3F in Tokyo and are expected to make a second appearance during Snoopy’s grand 60th anniversary event next year.

The adorable and luxurious costume suit Snoopy pretty well from what I can tell—perhaps it’s time to switch all cartoons into some more high-end outfits to keep up with Snoopy’s trend setting ways. I turn 25 next year; I may have to call Snoopy’s people to see what they can do for my celebrations…
