Haute Event: David Barton Gym’s 10th Annual Toy Drive

‘Tis the season for giving! And what better way to give back to needy children than a star-studded toy drive?

On Friday, Dec. 10, David Barton, nightlife guru Susanne Bartsch and photographer Steven Klein, along with designers Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein and Narciso Rodriguez, hosted the 10th annual Toy Drive at David Barton Gym Astor Place. This year’s was the largest toy drive to date, collecting approximately 200,000 toys, all of which will be distributed to children in need throughout Manhattan including St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Mount Sinai Hospital’s Pediatric HIV Program, New York Presbyterian Pediatric Studies and the Family CareCenter at Harlem Hospital.

Donators included some of Barton’s celebrity friends like Madonna, Bette Midler and Kelly Bensimon. Other guests of the charitable event included Abigial Breslin, Patrick Heusinger, Richie Rich, Dina Manzo and many others.
