Ibiza’s Most Legendary Nightclub is Opening in New York This Summer
One thing is for certain: if you have been to Ibiza, chances are you have been to Pacha. For more than 50 years, Pacha Ibiza has been the place where the world’s biggest DJs have cut their teeth and some of Hollywood’s most famous celebrities escape on the dancefloor. Supermodels, chart-topping musicians, athletes, actors, off-duty DJs—generations of A-listers have made their way to that iconic venue, drawn by an energy that is genuinely impossible to replicate anywhere else. This June, New York gets its very own version.

To say Pacha New York has big shoes to fill is an understatement.
Since opening its doors in 1973, Pacha Ibiza has evolved into one of the most influential cultural institutions in modern nightlife. It played a pivotal role in transforming Ibiza from a bohemian hippie retreat into the undisputed global capital of electronic music and celebration, without losing its intimate energy that immediately connects the crowd to the artist (arguably one of the hardest things to accomplish in nightlife). By championing house music in the late 1980s and 90s, Pacha helped export the “Ibiza sound” to the rest of the world, shaping club culture, superstar DJ stardom, and the festival phenomenon we know today.

Pacha New York is opening at the former Brooklyn Mirage, transforming one of the city’s most beloved outdoor venues into what is already shaping up to be the most talked-about nightlife destination of the summer. The partnership behind it brings together two complementary forces: FIVE Holdings, which has entered into a long-term agreement assuming full operational management of the Brooklyn Mirage and The Great Hall complex, and Pacha’s globally celebrated expertise in building culturally defining destinations. The result is a venue that carries Avant Gardner’s deeply rooted Brooklyn legacy into a bold new era—one with the production ambition and international pull that the culture deserves.

The timing is everything. New York is heading into one of its biggest summers in years—with the World Cup, Fanatics Fest, and an influx of global talent, celebrity arrivals, and nonstop momentum all converging on the city at once. Pacha New York is positioned to be the after-hours address where it all lands. Just as the original Ibiza venue has done for decades, the New York outpost is expected to draw a standout mix of artists, tastemakers, and familiar faces throughout the season.
The first season runs from June through October 2026, and the lineup signals exactly what kind of stage this is going to be. Pre-opening weekend on June 13–14 features Keinemusik’s Rampa, followed by a sold-out opening weekend on June 20–21 with Michael Bibi and former Haute Living cover star Black Coffee—two names that need no introduction. From there, the season promises world-class performers, Grammy-winning headliners, and large-scale productions rarely seen in New York City, all delivered with the depth and intention the genre has always deserved.

Beyond the summer season, the soon-to-be-upgraded Great Hall will continue to operate year-round as a multi-genre arena for live acts and next-generation sounds—ensuring that what Pacha New York is building extends well beyond a seasonal moment. And for all its global DNA, the heartbeat of the venue remains unmistakably Brooklyn, with ongoing partnerships with local artists, collectives, and promoters keeping the space rooted in the community that built this dancefloor’s legacy in the first place.

The cherries—Pacha’s signature emblem, worn and recognized in nightlife circles worldwide—will be landing in New York soon. And more than 50 years after Pacha first opened in Ibiza, the brand still represents what it always has: a world where music, culture, hospitality, and the kind of nights you never quite forget collide in the same room. This summer, that room is in Brooklyn.
