A checkerboard floor in Nero Marquina and Calacatta Viola Monet marble anchors the room, while honey-hued leather banquettes and moody, rich tones create an atmosphere that is quietly theatrical without trying too hard. Throughout the 183-seat space, art deco-inspired murals by Christoph Niemann add personality and a playful edge that keeps the glamour from tipping into reverence. “Together, these elements compose a quietly theatrical atmosphere that nods to steakhouse nostalgia while maintaining a fresh, contemporary sensibility,” say John and Christine Gachot.
