Chanel Returns to Aspen With a New Ephemeral Boutique
This February, Chanel welcomed guests to its new seasonal boutique in the heart of Aspen, Colorado. The 2,693-square-foot, two-level space reestablishes the House’s presence in one of the world’s most cherished alpine destinations. This opening follows the immense success of Chanel’s ephemeral boutique in Aspen in 2022, reaffirming the brand’s enduring affinity for the town’s sophisticated mountain culture.

Nestled at 516 East Hyman Avenue in the center of Aspen, the boutique is conceived as an intimate retreat that mirrors both the grandeur of its natural surroundings and the understated elegance synonymous with the Maison. The interior design seamlessly integrates Chanel’s signature palette of black, white, and beige with the warmth and texture of an elevated alpine sanctuary. Beige stone patterns and neutral plaster walls, combined with plush carpeting, establish a cocoon-like comfort, while dark wood displays, crisp white shelving, and precise black metal accents introduce striking visual rhythm and tactile sophistication throughout the space.

Visitors are greeted on the ground floor by a meticulously curated presentation of leather goods and accessories, which flows naturally into a cozy living area dedicated to ready-to-wear and a distinct shoe corner. Two discreet fitting rooms, placed thoughtfully nearby, ensure privacy and ease. Dominating this refined environment is the Coco Neige 2025/26 collection—coordinated knit sets, playful outerwear, and versatile layering pieces executed in exquisite fabrics. These designs capture the effortless chic of mountain life, equally suited to a day on the slopes or an evening by the fire.

The experience ascends to the second floor, where a long creamy tweed sofa—accented with black puffer tweed pillows and sumptuous faux fur throws—welcomes guests at the top of the staircase. Here, selections from the Spring-Summer 2026 Pre-Collection are presented with precision: neutral separates, supple leather jackets, and easy denim pieces that bridge winter opulence with an elevated off-season wardrobe. A private fitting room reserved for top clients, discreetly veiled by a neutral tweed curtain, enhances the floor’s intimate and understated atmosphere.

A dedicated corner on the upper level showcases the latest from Chanel Watches & Fine Jewelry. Iconic collections—Coco Crush, N°5, Camélia, Première, and J12—are presented alongside the new Première Galon, while recent Coco Crush novelties, including choker and supple necklaces, join the striking Première Ribbon Red Watch. Together, these signatures invite personal expression through layering, stacking, and cross-collection styling.
