The Dorchester Collection’s LA properties, The Beverly Hills Hotel and Hotel Bel-Air, are introducing an art exhibition series throughout 2025 in partnership with the hotel’s new art curator – Lily Ackerman, founder of London based Ackerman Studios, in collaboration with CURA Art.

In partnership with collection management specialists Liza Shapiro and Georgia Powell from CURA Art, Ackerman Studios will showcase exclusive schedules for The Beverly Hills Hotel and Hotel Bel-Air, highlighting Los Angeles’ diverse artistic community. This collaboration also strengthens Dorchester Collection’s relationship with Lily Ackerman, who has managed the art exhibitions at 45 Park Lane in London since 2017.

The “Spotlight LA” exhibition schedule fittingly pays homage to the hotel’s history and deep connection with the city as The Beverly Hills Hotel opened in 1912, two years before the City of Beverly Hills was even incorporated. The first of the three exhibitions entitled ‘Where Memory Forgets’ will present works by Los Angeles-based artist Virginia Broersma, whose art focuses on the concept of leisure with a nod to Southern California.
Dates: February 21 to June 22, 2025.

Exhibition two will showcase works by influential rock-and-roll photographer Guy Webster. His 40-year-career spans music, film, and politics, capturing album covers for The Rolling Stones and The Beach Boys, as well as photographing film icons such as Rita Hayworth and Dean Martin.
Dates: June 27 to November 2, 2025.

At Hotel Bel-Air, the exhibition schedule ‘Spatial Elegance – Timeless Horizons’ centers around a refined discovery of excellence, presenting sculptures in the peaceful surroundings of the hotel’s lush grounds and scenic gardens. Drawing inspiration from the tranquil environs, the interplay of light, and the expansive Californian sky, the presentations will create an immersive and meditative experience.

Exhibition one, entitled ‘Spectral Radiance’, will showcase seven sculptures by artist Shana Mabari, each of which features mirrored, spectral-colored cylinders.

The second exhibition will present works by Michael Wilding, whose abstract sculptures explore the interplay between form and space and feature materials such as marble and bronze to showcase a harmonious blend of natural elements and artistic expression.
Dates: June 20 to November 9, 2025

Hotel Bel-Air’s final exhibition for 2025 will feature sculptures by South-African born artist Jill Berelowitz. Two series of works will be presented; one of which will focus on the natural world, and the other on the human form. Known for her bronze, steel and optical resin works, Berelowitz has become one of London’s most innovative sculptors.
Dates: November 13, 2025 to February 15, 2026.
