Olivia Culpo On Motherhood, Summer Trends & Her New Vacation Edit With Cupshe

Model, influencer, and former Haute Living cover star Olivia Culpo recently announced her pregnancy with husband and San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey a few months after the pair tied the knot in her Rhode Island hometown. Keeping busy during her pregnancy, Culpo also recently unveiled her latest partnership with e-retailer Cupshe, where she curated her own vacation edit of hand-picked pieces designed to celebrate every chapter and stage of a woman’s life. The campaign features a refined selection of swim and resort wear inspired by Italian fashion and features a pregnant Olivia joined by her sisters, Aurora and Sophia Culpo, celebrating love and connection. While speaking to Haute Living about the exciting partnership, she lets us in on the joy of soon-to-be motherhood, styling tips, and more.

“Vacation season is coming up and I want everyone to be ready!,” says Culpo. “Cupshe asked me to hand-select my favorite pieces from their vacation edit. They have so many great pieces and styles, I had a hard time narrowing down my selects, but I am confident everyone will find something they love. Packing for travel can be tough, but this edit gives you everything you need to feel incredible on your vacation or staycation.”

On The Vacation Edit & Trends

Haute Living: Which pieces from the edit are your favorite, and how are you styling them? 

Culpo: I love wearing matching sets, and there’s a red bikini in the collection that comes with a matching sarong. It’s the perfect complete outfit for a beach day or pool party. Also, play with accessories! Statement jewelry, a head scarf, hair scarf, sarong, fun bag, baseball hat, sun hat, or sun visor—if you have at least two of these, you’ll look totally styled.

Haute Living: What was it like being able to collaborate with your sisters on the campaign? 

Culpo: I think we will all enjoy having these photos and memories together. My sisters were really nice and they let me select the bathing suits that I felt the most comfortable shooting in!

Haute Living: What beauty/fashion trend are you obsessed with right now?

Culpo: I love all jewel tones for summer! I have to say that no matter what skin changes I’m going through, even during pregnancy, I always rely heavily on a vitamin C serum, specifically the iS Clinical Pro-Heal Serum Advance+. It really helps with hyperpigmentation and I highly recommend it for anybody looking to maintain an even skin tone.

On Pregnancy & Motherhood 

Haute Living: What are you looking forward to most during motherhood?

Culpo: We talk a lot about the traditions we’re excited to have with our own little family as we start to build it, like game nights, movie nights, pizza nights, etc. It’s also so fun to think about the memories we can build with our extended family. Our babies will have a lot of cousins which I’m really looking forward to. 

Haute Living: Any products that you’re loving during pregnancy right now?

Culpo: I love the jumpsuits from Bumpsuit!

Haute Living: What has been the most rewarding part of your pregnancy so far? Anything you weren’t expecting?

Culpo: The most exciting thing, for me, is just being healthy—that’s really all you can ask for. I think that’s part of the reason I’m not finding out the gender either. At the end of the day, I just hope everyone is healthy and that there’s nothing more I could ask for.
