Haute Living Celebrates Chef Emeril Lagasse At Butcher Private In Naples
On Friday, December 13, Haute Living and Haute Black hosted legendary chef and national TV personality Emeril Lagasse with an exclusive cocktail and dinner celebration featuring his Haute Living Las Vegas December 2024 cover for the members at the Butcher Private in Naples, Florida.

Seth Semilof, publisher and COO of Haute Media Group, Veljko Pavicevic, co-founder and General Manager of Butcher Private, Sails, and Sava, and Corinne Ryan, Director of Operations and co-founder of Sails, Butcher Private, and Sava welcomed guests with Chef Emeril who curated the mouthwatering menu and helped prepare the dinner with his famous recipes alongside Chef Rajkumar “Raj” Holuss and his team at Sails and Butcher Private.

For cocktail hour, guests gathered by the sleek Crystal Bar mingling with Lagasse while enjoying a wine selection from Simon Family Estate paired with flavorful hors d’oeuvres including Emeril’s BBQ shrimp and deviled eggs topped with caviar.

For the celebratory dinner, attendees dined on memorable dishes including the Chicken and Andouille Gumbo with Laurel Rice, a recipe hailed from Emeril’s Coastal restaurant in Miramar Beach, FL that is inspired by Emeril’s deep appreciation and connection to the water. This dish with its rich chicken broth and roux was paired with Simon Family Estate Rosé of Grenache ‘Tigress’ Napa Valley, 2023 offering tasting notes of juicy grapefruit with a touch of honeysuckle and orange zest.

The second course was Snapper Almondine with Creole Meunière Sauce, a dish offering a twist on classic Cajun recipes derived from Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House at MGM Grand Las Vegas paired with Simon Family Estate Sauvignon Blanc ‘Golden Ore’ Oakville, 2021 featuring a flavor profile of fresh white flowers, clementine, melon, and stone fruit.

The third dish was Roasted Dry Aged Striploin, Smashed Potato, Spinach au Gratin, and Red Wine Truffle Sauce, a recipe from Lagasse’s Las Vegas institution, Delmonico Steakhouse at The Venetian paired with Simon Family Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley, 2021 offering a full-bodied palate with layers of dark plum and blackberry with fresh mountain herb along with Simon Family Estate Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley, 2021 providing velvety tannins, full-bodied richness, and silky layers of ripe plum, dark currant, and crème de cassis.

Ending with a sweet finish, guests indulged in the 34 Basque-style Cheesecake from 34 Restaurant and Bar, Lagasse’s restaurant inspired by his late mother Hilda paying tribute to his Portuguese heritage and many travels to Portugal over the years.
