Cincoro Tequila, the brainchild of five legendary figures, marked its fifth anniversary in style last night at Spring Studios in New York City. This milestone wasn’t just a celebration of time passed but a testament to the brand’s meteoric rise and its bright future. What began as a shared passion among a group of friends has blossomed into a prestigious name in the world of tequila, embodying the gold standard of quality and sophistication.

Michael Jordan, one of Cincoro’s co-founders, reflected on the journey with pride: “Five years ago, we set out to create an exceptional brand and achieve the gold standard in tequila. What started as a passion project has grown into something truly special with some of my closest friends joining the business and enjoying Cincoro together, whether it’s stateside or around the world.”

The star-studded, intimate gathering featured VIPs such as Derek Jeter, Eric Church, and Michael Strahan. Guests were welcomed with an array of specialty cocktails, including the Espresso Martini and Cristalino Margarita, setting the tone for an evening of luxury and indulgence. The highlight of the night was the unveiling of Cincoro’s limited-edition Añejo Cristalino, presented in an immersive infinity room experience that encapsulated the brand’s commitment to elegance and innovation.

As attendees sipped on the newly unveiled Cristalino paired with Petrossian Caviar, it was clear that this was more than just a drink—it was an experience, a reflection of the brand’s dedication to quality. Serena Williams, co-owner and 23-time Grand Slam Champion, echoed this sentiment: “Being a part of this journey has been incredibly rewarding. I’m passionate about quality and excellence in everything I do, and that’s exactly what we strive for with Cincoro.”

The evening also served as the debut for the new limited-edition Añejo Cristalino 750mL, an embodiment of Cincoro’s meticulous craftsmanship. From the hand-selected 100% Blue Weber Agave sourced from Jalisco’s Highlands and Lowlands to the 20-month aging process in Tennessee Whiskey barrels, every detail of this spirit speaks to a pursuit of perfection. The result is a smooth, complex tequila with vibrant notes of citrus and agave, now available in an elegant platinum chrome-finished bottle.

Since its launch in 2019, Cincoro Tequila has consistently raised the bar, winning over 29 awards in prestigious spirits competitions. Founded by NBA luminaries Jeanie Buss, Wes Edens, Emilia Fazzalari, Wyc Grousbeck, and Michael Jordan, Cincoro has not only established itself as a leader in the tequila industry but has also redefined what it means to be great.
