The Tiffany & Co. 2024 US Open Pop-up Features Bespoke Tennis Trophies & AR Experiences
Tiffany & Co. has again brought its world to the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City. For the second year, Tiffany & Co. is celebrating its partnership with the 2024 US Open by unveiling a captivating pop-up experience from August 19 to September 8, 2024. This year’s pop-up is a unique blend of tradition, innovation, and luxury, offering tennis fans and visitors an immersive glimpse into the artistry behind some of the most iconic sports trophies in the world — in fact, our former Haute Living cover star, Taylor Fritz, was spotted over the weekend at the Tiffany & Co. pop-up.
Since 1987, Tiffany & Co. has been the proud creator of the 2024 US Open Men’s and Women’s Singles Championship Trophies. These coveted trophies are more than just symbols of athletic excellence; they are also masterpieces of silver craftsmanship, meticulously handcrafted each year by expert silversmiths at Tiffany’s hollowware workshop in Cumberland, Rhode Island. The pop-up at the US Open will prominently feature replicas of these prestigious trophies, allowing visitors to appreciate the intricate details and sophisticated design that characterize Tiffany’s world-renowned craftsmanship.
In addition to the trophies, the pop-up will showcase a one-of-a-kind Elsa Peretti® Diamonds by the Yard® tennis racket, accompanied by a leather cover painted in black lacquer using an ancient Japanese technique known as inden. This exquisite piece reflects Peretti’s deep appreciation for the art of craftsmanship and adds a luxurious touch to the display. The racket will be presented in a whimsical vignette inspired by the iconic window displays at The Landmark, Tiffany’s flagship store on Fifth Avenue. This nod to the brand’s heritage in visual storytelling adds a magical element to the pop-up, drawing visitors into the enchanting world of Tiffany & Co.
Tiffany & Co.’s 2024 US Open pop-up goes beyond mere display, incorporating cutting-edge technology to create an immersive experience for visitors. The pop-up features an AR Mirror, developed in collaboration with Snap Inc., that offers two innovative augmented reality (AR) Lens experiences. Guests can interact with these AR features, blending the digital and physical worlds uniquely engagingly, showcasing Tiffany’s commitment to innovation and contemporary storytelling.
This year, for the first time, Tiffany & Co. will enhance the Singles Championship ceremonies with a branded display on the court, delivering the full suite of US Open trophies to the event. This addition underscores Tiffany’s integral role in the 2024 US Open, cementing its status as a vital partner of the prestigious tennis tournament. Additionally, to mark the start of this year’s event, the Women’s Singles Championship Trophy was featured in a stunning window display at The Landmark, drawing attention to the House’s continuous involvement with the sport.
The Tiffany & Co. US Open pop-up is a must-visit in the Fountain Plaza of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
