Each summer, Montauk hot spot The Surf Lodge brings in an A-list lineup of performers for its summer concert series. This past Sunday was extra-special, as the beloved daytime-into-nighttime party destination welcomed the multitalented (EGOT – Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony) award-winning artist, John Legend, to take center stage.

In typical Hamptons fashion, partygoers lined up in the early afternoon, ready for a chic sunset fête filled with bottle service, platters of indulgent signature Surf Lodge bites, and of course, a historic performance from Legend. The intimate concert and special performance were presented by Legend’s personal wine label, LVE Wines (Legend Vineyard Exclusives), which is Legend’s newest venture. The brand celebrated its #SummerofLVE 2019 campaign, as well as the brand’s newest sparkling rosé hailing from Provence, France. You may also be familiar with the launch prior to Sunday, as Legend’s hilarious model wife, Chrissy Tiegen, took to her own Instagram page to promote it as well, with the caption “send me my check @johnlegend @lve_wines.”

Referred to as “the most magical night in Surf Lodge history,” by the A-list group of partygoers—which included boldface names like Rachel Zoe, Christie Brinkley, Donna Karan, Don Lemon, Molly Sims, Brandon Boyd and Noah Tepperberg—Legend belted some of his fan-favorite hits to a picturesque scene as the sun set on the beautiful summer evening. It was the pinnacle Hamptons celebration, and certainly, one that will be remembered for years to come.
