
Gucci Partners With Melet Mercantile For Summer Pop-Up In Montauk, Hamptons
For a temporary retail destination in Montauk, Hamptons, Gucci has partnered with a local favorite, Melet Mercantile to house its merchandise.
Gucci has come together with Melet Mercantile—a popular locale in Montauk—for a temporary retail location in Montauk, New York. Hamptons locals are very familiar with the vintage store, which touts a wide array of rare and unique finds from across the globe, such as vinyl records, books and prints, curated by founder Bob Melet.
In addition, Gucci is working with businesses in the area such as John’s Drive-In and Morty’s Oyster Stand to offer guests some very Hamptons-approrpiate bites. Continuing its efforts to support the local community, the House will also contribute to organizations such as A Walk On Water, Concerned Citizens of Montauk and the Montauk Playhouse Community Center Foundation, all of which will surely be welcomed by the Montauk society.

The Toward Summer collection will be prominently displayed, as well as a selection of other Gucci merchandise items and vintage pieces from Bob Melet’s collection. The Towards Summer collection is aptly named, as it features seasonal women’s and men’s clothing, jewelry, shoes, childrenswear and accessories for the warmer months, using materials like straw, wicker and canvas.
