Independence Day is less than a week away, and we’re here to round up the hottest places in town to celebrate the occasion. From riverside hot spot to Kiki on the River to Soho House’s hip rooftop pool + bar, Ocho, enjoy July 4th in haute style in the Magic City.
SOHO BEACH HOUSE

At the exclusive Soho Beach House‘s 8th Floor rooftop pool + bar, Ocho, they’ll be hosting an afternoon-until-nighttime party, starting at 2 p.m. Take in live DJ beats from Danny Stern, specialty cocktails like the famed Eastern Standard or Picante and delicious Mexican-inspired plates, as well as special Independence Day-themed, All-American menu items including hot dogs, burgers and more. Guests can also enjoy fun games like cornhole and foosball tournaments, as they prepare to watch the gorgeous display of fireworks from the deck at 8:30 p.m. Afterwards, Soulection will take over the DJ booth at the club bar to continue the festivities into the late night.
MR. C COCONUT GROVE

Head to the beautiful and historic Coconut Grove and spend the 4th of July at the neighborhood’s newest hot spot, Mr. C Coconut Grove. Enjoy music, cocktails and plenty of lively entertainment from 7-10 p.m. on the rooftop pool deck, taking in views of Coconut Grove. Tickets begin at $175/person and include wine and beer, a complimentary Bellini and Absolut Elyx Mr. C specialty cocktail. For VIP cabana service, tickets start at $250/person, with a maximum of five people per cabana. FAENA HOTEL MIAMI BEACH

Head to the ultra-luxurious Faena Hotel Miami Beach for a day of fun in the sun. Lounge on the beach or by the hotel’s pool, which happens to be aptly decked out in red and white striped, plush furniture. Over at the Sun Bar and Tree of Life, indulge in a specially-themed, All-American menu including the All-American Burger, Jumbo Wings, Hot Dog with chili sauce and beer specials all day long.
1 HOTEL SOUTH BEACH

The 1 Hotel is always one of our favorite places to lounge by the pool and sip signature cocktails. So, of course, it’s one of our top picks of where to celebrate. The hotel will be hosting two Independence Day parties—the first, on the Center Pool floor, complete with face painting for the little Seedlings, an organic cotton candy stand, photo booth and boozy snow cones by Absolut Elyx from 2-4 p.m. This party is for hotel guests only. On the 1 Rooftop, the party will be going late into the night, kicking off at 4 p.m. Enjoy DJ sets by YISSEL and Pam Jones, Veuve Clicquot specials and spectacular views of the ocean and fireworks.
KIKI ON THE RIVER

Kiki on the River will celebrate July 4th with an Independence Day riverside BBQ, beginning at 1 p.m. Enjoy Greek-inspired dishes curated specially for the holiday and the July 4th signature cocktail, “Kiki’s Fired Up,” which includes Ketel One Oranje Vodka, freshly made in-house lemonade, Blue Curacao and Grenadine, layered over crushed ice. The party will go into the early evening, with front-row views of the fireworks from the waterfront.
