Adidas & Beyoncé Announce New Partnership & Relaunch Of Ivy Park Athleisure Clothing Line

Adidas today announced its new and massive partnership with none other than one of the world’s biggest celebrities, Beyoncé Knowles. In addition to relaunching her athleisure clothing line called Ivy Park, Beyoncé will serve as creative partner for the company, helping to come up with footwear and clothing for the brand.

Ivy Park made its debut at Topshop three years ago in partnership with the retailer, whose parent company, Arcadia Group, is run by chairman Sir Philip Green. Last year, Ivy Park took sole ownership of the brand, opening the opportunity to partner with Adidas.

“This is the partnership of a lifetime for me,” Beyoncé said in a statement. “Adidas has had tremendous success in pushing creative boundaries. We share a philosophy that puts creativity, growth and social responsibility at the forefront of business. I look forward to re-launching and expanding Ivy Park on a truly global scale with a proven, dynamic leader.”

Adidas is no stranger to signing on some of the world’s most recognized names in music to its repertoire, which includes Pharrell Williams and Kanye West. However, it seems that Beyoncé will have a more active role in developing for the brand overall.
