On The Scene At The 2019 Sundance Film Festival With Zac Efron, Michael B. Jordan & More
Zac Efron debuted a platinum ‘do, the new KAOS Day & Nightclub in Las Vegas got a snowy introduction from Diplo, and TAO brought the heat to chilly Park City at its annual TAO Park City kick off at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. Here’s what you missed!

TAO Group returned for its 11th year to the Sundance Film Festival with TAO Park City presented by Stella Artois at The Yard. The first of its three-night pop-up kicked off on Friday, January 25. This year Casamigos served up cocktails and bottle service, warming guests from the inside/out against Park City’s bitter winter weather. DJ Ruckus kept the party going well into the late hours of the night as notable guests made their way into the exclusive nightclub experience.
Gerard Butler arrived with fellow producer Alan Siegel, both at Sundance to present their film “Them That Follow.” “Black Panther” star Michael B. Jordan posted up alongside “If Beale Street Could Talk” actor Kiki Layne and Emmy award winner Lena Waithe at a VIP table, where they toasted over rounds of Casamigos. Shailene Woodley arrived arm-in-arm with friend and “Shameless” star Isidora Goreshter and shared a bucket of Stella Artois as they danced the night away.

Deep into the party, rapper G-Eazy showed up with a group of friends and surprised the crowd by jumping behind the DJ booth and on the mic. Flanked by ski bunny go-go dancers, he performed his newest track ‘My Year’ and hits including ‘No Limit’ while grabbing fans’ phones and taking videos and selfies during his impromptu performance.
Other celebrity guests at TAO Park City on Friday night included: David Arquette, Marshmello, Black Panther and “Training Day” star Denzel Whitaker, YouTube’s Liza On Demand star Liza Koshy, Angie Martinez, former NBA player Baron Davis, Utah Jazz’s Boris Diaw and Dallas Cowboys’ Tyrone Smith.

Hilary Swank, Zac Efron, Emma Roberts, Lily Collins, Jenny Slate, Danielle McDonald, Alex Sharp, Patty Jenkins, Zach Galifianakis and more sat down for exclusive interviews with host Kevin Smith at the IMDB Studio. Zac Efron debuted his platinum blonde haircut while discussing his portrayal of Ted Bundy for the highly-anticipated, “Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile.” Danielle MacDonald resurfaced her hit roles in Netflix original films “Birdbox” and “Dumplin” while gushing about meeting Dolly Parton. Eiza González confirmed that Edgar Wright is doing a “Baby Driver 2” and has already re-written the script. Meanwhile, Armie Hammer revealed that there is video somewhere of him in an epic Batman costume and begged for someone to share with him!

Lyft has been ferrying the stars around Park City, and to introduce their mode of transportation, invited guests including David Arquette, Danielle Brooks, Tony Hale, Phoebe Robinson, Alia Shawkat, Reggie Watts, Michael Urie, Ken Barnett, Darren Darnborough, and Michael Hsu Rosen to a Sundance Welcome party, where they enjoyed cocktails and a DJ set by Nancy Whang of LCD Soundsystem.

TopShop TopMan Personal Styling experts were on hand to get guests snow season ready.
Actors Peter Sarsgaard and Tony Revolori joined the cast and executives of their film “The Sound of Silence” for a panel discussion led by Ben Lyons; the film tells the story of a successful “house tuner” in New York City, who calibrates the sounds in people’s homes in order to adjust their moods.
The lounge also hosted a discussion of “Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men” with director Sacha Jenkins and executive producer Peter Scalettar, who told the real story of the Wu-Tang Clan, with never-before-seen footage and interviews recounting the obstacles traversed to stay united as one Wu family.
Terrance J, Jessie Williams, Angie Martinez and Gina Torres were all spotted in the COMPLEX Studio before heading to the Top Shop Top Man Personal Shopping Styling Studio. “Shameless” stars Jeremy Allen White, Steve Howey and Shanola Hampton popped into the Music in Film Summit presented by Last Call to support “Bend it like Beckham” director Gurinder Chadha for her film “Blinded By The Light,” the true story of Bruce Springsteen’s inspirational influence on a young Muslim boy growing up in Luton . The “Shameless” crew also enjoyed The Culture of Music Today panel with DJ Ryan Best, DJ Spider, Reggie Watts , DJ Michelle Pesce and DJ Ana Calderone.
