On October 6th, the Miami chapter of Friends of St. Jude (FOSJ), the group of professionals dedicated to fulfilling the mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, attended the International Dermatology’s 11th annual “It’s All About the Kids.”
The event featured a wide array of guests that consisted of more than 450 of Miami’s young professionals and tastemakers. The event was presented by the Andrés Asion Foundation at the Eden Roc Miami Beach. At this event, the Friends of St. Jude had accomplished raising over $325,000 this past year with all the proceeds going towards the fight against childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
The event was hosted by TÚ 94.9’s Enrique Santos and television host Pamela Silva Conde, with Latin singer Chyno Miranda singing some of his latest hits. And there was plenty for guests to enjoy all around.
The event was themed a night “under the sea” which began with a cocktail reception and silent auction. The room was designed by Fiction Events and Caro Toledo Productions. Dinner was made courtesy of Eden Roc, beverages were by Diageo, Miller Coors and Rutini Wines and desserts were made by Pink Pie, Cielito Artisan Pops and Phenomenon Cookies.
The night kicked off with speeches made by Committee co-chairs Carolina Armas Bustamante and Frances Hassun, with a letter courtesy of Friends of St. Jude advocate Wendy Grant. The night ended with Chyno Miranda performing some of his latest hits on stage.
