Haute Cuisine, News | July 3, 2018

On July 12th select winegrowers and vintners from Calistoga will be showcasing their premier wines at the Second Annual Calistoga Uncorked in San Francisco. This much-anticipated event will include 30 family-owned winemakers who will be pouring some of their celebrated vintages. A few wineries will give guests the opportunity to buy exclusive bottles at the event.

For those who adore rare handcrafted wines, this sipping soiree is a must. The event will introduce exclusive wines from premium Calistoga wineries. Many of these winegrowers produce fewer than 1,000 cases annually and do not have tasting rooms or retail locations. Along with sampling incredible wines, guests have a wonderful opportunity to meet proprietors and winemakers. Also included in this delicious afternoon is the chance to taste an array of cheese, charcuterie, and specialty sweet treats made by Calistoga natives.

“We’re excited to bring back Calistoga Uncorked to San Francisco for our second annual wine tasting event at the Golden Gate Club,” said Chris Canning, Mayor of the city of Calistoga and executive director of Calistoga Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Bureau. “Our winemakers and owners will once again showcase their world-class wines in an intimate event—an authentic sampling of our Calistoga experience.”

To add a bit of fun to the event, there is an exciting silent auction featuring unique and opulent Calistoga experiences, including tickets for The Calistoga Harvest Table, extraordinary tastings, and overnight stays in Calistoga. This is a great opportunity for wine collectors to add a few gems to their cellars and speak with the talented men and woman who lovingly create the wines from Calistoga.
