Acqualina Resort & Spa‘s stunning dining destination, AQ Chop House by Il Mulino, recently debuted to the public, boasting a new menu and upgraded look and feel. Keeping with the exciting transformation, the team at the renowned hotel has decided to take things up another level by hosting a can’t-miss pop-up dinner series featuring Michelin-starred chef Andrea Migliaccio.

The renowned chef comes to AQ Chophouse from Capri Palace’s Il Riccio restaurant, which is part of the acclaimed Mytha Hotel Anthology portfolio. With this exclusive dinner series, chef Migliaccio brings a taste of the Amalfi Coast to Miami with a stellar, authentic Italian menu featuring some of his greatest dishes.

The partnership transpired from Il Mulino executive chef Michele Mazza, who brought his friend on board for the limited dinner series taking place March 9th & 10th. The two collaborated on the fixed menu, with rotating dishes that are one better than the next.

The five-star experience takes every culinary aspect into consideration. The night starts out with a pre-dinner champagne reception with passed hors-d’oeuvres, ranging from Rice Arancino, Bruschetta with mozzarella and purple eggplant, Sea Bass Tartare with capers, to a delicate Whipped Cod Manteccato and rich Zucchini Flowers with rock shrimp, ricotta and lemon zest.

Following the cocktail reception, guests sit down for dinner and are treated to an all-star lineup of fine Italian cuisine with plates including Blue Lobster with spinach, raspberry vinegar, vegetables and saffron mayonnaise; a spicy Red Shrimp Arrabiata Saffron Risotto; Hand Made Potato Gnocchi with Seafood; a Crispy Sea Bass over “Pappa al Pomodoro”; and for dessert, a delectable, multi-layered Goat Cheese Mouse with Wild Strawberries, Ice Cream Yogurt and lime.

The special experience with champagne reception is priced at $200/person, exclusive of tax and gratuity. We suggest adding the additional wine pairing for $50 to enhance the flavors of the cuisine and overall experience.
