Sade Is Making New Music Thanks To Ava DuVernay

Ava DuVernay did it. She has been and is still doing it actually, but most recently she’s done the UNTHINKABLE. Even she can’t believe it.

DuVernay was able to convince the influential Nigerian-British Sade to record a song after the singer’s eight-year hiatus.

The iconic and irreplaceable singer-songwriter, composer, and record producer will be returning to the studio after her eight-year hiatus for one reason: A Wrinkle In Time.

Sade’s new song will be titled “Flower of the Universe” and if it’s anything like her earlier work (any of it actually), fans will hopefully convince Sade to return for good. Music needs her.

She has been the inspiration to many artists including the likes of Common, Drake, Beyonce, and Alicia Keys to name a few.
