Prada Celebrates The Year Of The Dog With South Coast Plaza Pop-Up
Get into the Prada spirit this week at South Coast Plaza, where the only Prada Spirit pop-up in the U.S. will take place.
From tomorrow, Feb. 8 through February 19, fans of the luxury brand can make their way adjacent to the Prada boutique on the second level of the high-end, Orange County retail destination’s Jewel Court to peruse exclusive leather accessories through the Chinese New Year.
Given that it’s the Year of the Dog, items in the collection include handbags such as the Prada Cahler City Calf Mordor Saffiano Rosso and Prada Tessuto Dog Nero Bianco; as well as charms and keychains including the Prada Saffiano Dog Astrale.
‘Prada Spirit’ represents a new step forward in the exploration of alternative shopping experiences, whereby an exclusive product is offered in a unique concept location, and where the customer has the opportunity to share and socialize in a relaxed and luxurious atmosphere.
The original installation consists of a prestigious and traditional Italian café. The imposing central counter, lined throughout the perimeter with a transparent showcase for the display and service of products, is furnished with tall stools.
The project is rounded off with the backdrop of the bar, covered with a wall-chandelier consisting of a dense sequence of faceted perspex blades forming a decorative background for the presentation of the products.
