Anatomy At 1220 And Make-A-Wish Southern Florida Raise $100k At #HOURPUSHUPCHALLENGE
Nothing says holiday season like giving back to those in need. That is exactly what Anatomy at 1220 and Make-A-Wish Southern Florida did with their 2nd Annual #HourPushUpChallenge. The event raised enough money to grant about 20 wishes (around $100k) for the children who are beneficiaries of the foundation.
For the #HourPushUpChallenge, participants are invited to collect monetary pledges and have 60 minutes to complete as many push-ups as they can at the gym in Miami Beach. In 2016, the event collectively raised nearly $30,000 to help grant the wishes of six children in our community. This year, Anatomy more than tripled the amount of wishes they granted in year 1.
The first wish granted this year will go to Jean Carlo, who will receive a Tobii Dynavox speech generating device so that he can communicate with others. Jean Carlo was in attendance and met the participants.
