Julianne Hough Wants An Electric Volkswagen For Christmas

Dancing With the Stars winner Julianne Hough celebrated Christmas early with a special drive-in screening of Will Ferrell’s Elf, hosted by Volkswagen.
The dancer came out with her husband ice hockey star Brooks Laich to test out the new Volkswagen electric concept vehicles: I.D., I.D. BUZZ and I.D. CROZZ at Raleigh Studios.
Volkswagen has several new electric cars in the works, but the most talked-about model is the I.D. BUZZ, a long-awaited reimagining of the famous VW minibus. Planned for a 2022 release, the I.D. BUZZ is intended to be a self-driving electric vehicle. Inside there are a number of cool features, including a retractable rectangular steering wheel, fully lit-up interiors, and a dashboard complete with a rotating garden gnome.
Hough was wowed over by the new vehicles, posting on Instagram: “These brand new electric concept vehicles by #vw are so amazing… 2022 can’t come soon enough!”
Volkswagen has announced they will release their first electric model in the U.S. in 2020, the Volkswagen I.D. CROZZ, an all-electric crossover SUV. The company plans on bringing to market 15 different battery-electric models by 2025.
