Le Coq Rico
Le Coq Rico is also offering a prix-fixed menu, bit with a classic take on the Christmas feast. Open for both lunch and dinner, the $98 menu features a roasted heritage goose of Dickensian proportions. Rolf’s German Restaurant, in Gramercy, is where Santa must make his eggnog pit stop when in the city. Of all the restaurants in New York, Rolf’s pulls out all the stops with decorations that fill every nook and cranny of the small space in a way that makes anyone feel perfectly cozy as they sip mulled wine and eat French onion soup. Even if just for a cocktail, make sure to stop in.
Chumley’s
This restaurant steeped in New York history. From old days in Greenwich Village as the favorite dive bar of firefighters in the area, Chumley’s is now one of the city’s most sought after reservations. For Christmas, the restaurant is offering a three-course menu at $90 per person. Menu items range from Kampachi first courses, to duck and potato pie in the second course, to smoked chocolate pot de crème in the third course. Other options will be two different kids of oysters and cocktails from one of the Village’s best bar programs.

For those who love passing plates around the table, this Brooklyn restaurant has mastered the art of smaller plates perfect for sharing. They’ll also be offering an a la carte menu for Christmas that can help keep the seafood dishes tailored to everyone’s tastes perfectly. The cocktail program at the bar, located in DUMBO, is also one of the best in Brooklyn.
