Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet Auction a Private Dinner for Charity
Leonardo DiCaprio & Kate Winslet are reuniting. The reason? To auction a private dinner with themselves. The auction is taking place in Saint-Tropez.
When it comes to love stories some people choose to settle down, others just settle. However, we refuse to settle for anything less than epic love. Raw. Consuming. Everlasting. You-jump-I-jump Titanic kind of love. 20 years after Titanic hit the big screens, Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio are reuniting to grant a fan a private dinner with Rose and Jack. Where to? Anything is possible. Even the stars.
The dinner – which will take place in New York during October or November – is being auctioned off on July 26th at the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation Gala in St. Tropez, France.
The proceeds from the auction will go to Leonardo DiCaprio’s Foundation, which supports environmental causes. With its mission to protect Earth’s inhabitants, the foundation has granted millions of dollars to projects dedicated to preserve the future of our planet.
Another portion of the proceeds will support a GoFundMe campaign. A cause that Kate Winslet has been involved with as it aims to help a young mother in the U.K finance her cancer treatment. After Winslet co-founded the Golden Hat Foundation, many of her efforts have been directed towards helping children with autism and their families, and supporting charities within the U.K.
