Haute Living Honors Jada Pinkett Smith at Catch with Armand de Brignac

On Monday night, Haute Living celebrated actress Jada Pinkett Smith, who graced the cover of Haute Living’s Miami June/July issue. An intimate crowd came together for the special evening at Catch located in West Hollywood.

The slick rooftop space known for its delicious seafood and creative cocktails made for the perfect location to celebrate Jada and all of her successes in life, including her most recent role in Girls Trip. It’s an action-packed comedy set to be released towards the end of this month, which stars Queen Latifah, Regina Hall, and Tiffany Haddish.

In Girls Trip, Jada takes on the character of Lisa, a reserved, recent divorcee who is persuaded into taking a girls trip with her three best friends after a five-year hiatus. Destination? New Orleans for the legendary Essence Festival. Jada showcases her versatility as an actress and proves that she can take on any character with her girl power and contagious energy.

The actress dominates and Monday night was no exception. Jada dominated the scene as soon as she walked into Catch, smiling and greeting her guests. Pictures were taken as guests sipped on glasses of Armand de Brignac champagne and soon enough, seats were taken and the dinner was off to a start.

The exclusive celebration counted on a delicious menu: for appetizers, chicken lettuce “cups”, cod lettuce wraps, lobster mac & cheese, and the Catch roll. For entrees, herb roasted Branzino, 50 day dry-aged ribeye, with some sauteed asparagus spears and cauliflower rice on the side.

Before dessert was brought out to the tables, Haute Living CEO, Kamal Hotchandani, made a toast thanking Jada and guests for a delightful night. Artist Mars, also shared a moment with Jada, gifting her a beautiful art piece. For dessert, the famed “Hit Me” chocolate cake and deconstructed strawberry shortcake was the perfect ending to a sweet celebration. Shortly after dessert, the star of the night said her warm goodbyes and took some final pictures with her guests.
