Weekend Roundup: Goats, John Oates and More Book Signing at Taco Cowboy

We all know and love Hall & Oates. They have more songs that are part of our classic repertoire than most other groups combined. And they are back on tour together, years later.  Before joining up for their performance on Sunday evening in Duluth, Ga, John Oates, kicked off his Atlanta visit with a book signing of his memoir at Taco Cowboy in Virginia Highlands.

Cathleen Smith, a longtime friend of the band, pulled together a group of the best to host this unforgettable party. Mara Davis, Atlanta personality did not disappoint with her great questions to the legendary rock star.

One of the coolest parts of the events, along with hearing John Oates answer Mar Davis’ brilliant questions was the rock n roll-theme/ cowboy themed decor that included miniature pictures of the rock star’s memoir “Change of Seasons” and pictures of him and his bandmate Daryl Hall from years past.  And, the best part? A petting zoo with goats each donning a custom-made John Oates “Change of Seasons” t-shirt.

As for the concert, Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, Daryl Hall & John Oates, partnered with international multi-platinum selling band, Tears For Fears, for a 29-city North American tour that stopped yesterday, Sunday June 11, 2017 at the Infinite Energy Arena in Duluth.
