With the 2017 Miss USA Pageant coming on Sunday night, the contestants spent a girls’ night out in Las Vegas, where they toured one of the Strip’s must-see attractions, the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay, then headed to the resort’s newest dining location, Libertine Social.

Dressed in summer outfits with picturesque hair and makeup, the contestants were excited to take a “deep dive” into the 90,560-square-foot Shark Reef Aquarium where they pet stingrays and took photos throughout the 14 exhibits. Following their personal tour, they headed to Polar Journey for an up-close, interactive look at the exhibit which opened earlier this year.

Another group of contestants stopped by award-winning chef Shawn McClain’s latest culinary creation, Libertine Social. The girls were seated in the social dining room and dined on the venue’s signature family-style dishes. A few of the contestants favored dishes included marinated Ahi tuna cones, parmesan churros, Petaluma chicken and the King salmon. Before and after dinner, the ladies took photos with fans in the dining room.

The 2017 Miss USA Competition is a three-hour special programming event, airing live from the Mandalay Bay Events Center on Sunday, May 14, at 8 p.m. ET live and 8 p.m. PT tape-delayed on FOX.
