José Andrés is one of the most popular chefs on earth and now he’s going to be the most popular at 40,000 feet aboard NetJets’ private flights. They have just announced a partnership with internationally-recognized culinary innovator, known for The Bazaar and Bazaar Mar restaurants at SLS in MIami Beach and SLS Brickell. NetJets private aircrafts operating out of Washington D.C. have first begun to offer José Andrés for NetJets custom dishes from three of Andrés’ award-winning restaurants including: Jaleo, Oyamel and Zaytinya. These dishes are designed to elevate the culinary experience for NetJets Owners, and included considerable research & development with the José Andrés team.

“We want to give our owners the very best in-flight experience, and that includes offering a curated menu of chef-selected dishes that appeal to the senses,” said Diana Oreck, Executive Vice President of Owner Experience. “José’s Penn Quarter restaurants are world-renowned for their ground breaking avant-garde cuisine and telling the stories of the Spanish culture through food. We’re thrilled to be able to bring the best of fine dining to our Owners.”

Awarded two Michelin Stars for his minibar by José Andrés and named “Outstanding Chef” by the James Beard Foundation in 2011, José Andrés and his team at ThinkFoodGroup are among the country’s most lauded culinary visionaries. The partnership with NetJets allows the chefs to explore their creativity in an entirely new setting, rethinking everything from which foods work best at 41,000 feet to innovative packaging presentations custom-designed for the in-flight experience.
