Grammy-nominated artist Kaskade kicked off his 2017 residency in true Vegas fashion at Omnia Nightclub at Caesars Palace on Friday night.
The dance music titan made his way to the nightclub in style as he flew in via Maverick Helicopter. Soaring high above the Las Vegas Strip, circling over Caesars Palace and Omnia Nightclub, Kaskade grabbed the city’s attention as he made his grand entrance. Landing Strip-side in front of the resort, the multi-talented musician was greeted by Omnia Nightclub staff clad in custom Kaskade flight suits, guests and fans alike. As he made his way out of the helicopter, he was welcomed by Hakkasan Group president Nick McCabe, Hakkasan Group vice president of entertainment James Algate, CMO of Caesars Entertainment Ruben Sigala, and vice president and general manager of Caesars Palace Sean McBurney. After saying a few brief words welcoming the artist to his new home, McCabe presented Kaskade with an honorary, custom silver-plated plaque and posed for photos. Following the presentation Kaskade chatted with media guests, posed for more photos and made his way into the nightspot to prepare for his debut set.
Around 1:30 a.m. the energy in Omnia’s main room hit an all-time high as the music faded, and the lights dimmed. Appearing in the DJ booth, Kaskade held the attention of the sold out room and began his first set of his new residency. Playing hit after hit, the chart-topping artist had the entire nightclub on its feet dancing into the early hours of the morning.
Previously announced in November, Hakkasan Group has added Kaskade to their 2017 artist roster with a long-term, multi-venue residency.
