The Spa at Beverly Wilshire has an exciting new addition in British skincare brand ELEMIS.Â
The five-treatment line debuted last month at the tony Four Seasons-brand hotel, which will be its flagship location. For those unfamiliar, ELEMIS’ line is a results-driven, anti-aging line formulated by powerful marine and plant actives coupled with intricately-blended aromatics.
The menu offers everything from a superfood detox wrap (perfect for the healthy Angeleno) to a treatment specifically targeting the unbalanced skin of travelers. Our pick, however, would be the big daddy: the $495 BIOTEC Indulgence.
What’s unique and very, very cool about the BIOTEC is that it’s a five-in-one treatment using ingredients including padina pevonica, hyaluronic acid and encapsulated vitamin C help deliver immediate results.
After being pampered and robed, your aesthetician will show you to one of the ethereally peaceful suites at the Spa, where you’ll bliss out before step one: a Microcurrent, which is used for firming and lifting. Then, a Galvanic treatment will propel high-potent actives deep into your skin, while Ultrasonic resurfacing will deep-cleanse and exfoliate. Blue and red light therapies are then used to to calm your sensitive skin and improve collagen before the final step of your luxe facial: an oxygen infusion, which drives high-potent actives to restore and rebalance the skin. As a bonus, it also plumps up your skin beyond belief.  You’re going to look fresh, clean, glowing and gorgeous when you leave the spa.

• Amber & Orchids, A Beverly Wilshire Signature Service ($315) – This lusciously fragrant Sweet Orchid Body Wrap, infused with vanilla and the velvety texture of Monoi Oil, intensely moisturizes thirsty skin. The mood-balancing aromatics are infused into the skin while you are cocooned in a warm wrap. The BIOTEC skincare which is rich in amber increases cell energy for optimum skin repair and protection.
• Travel Recovery Treatment ($315) – For the jet-lagged and out-of-balance, the re-energizing ELEMIS Musclease seaweed wrap detoxifies and de-stresses the body inside and out, easing the mind & lifting the spirit. A combination of the richness of sea plants with a warming blend of Juniper and Pine essential oils reduces aches and pains, muscle tension and fatigue. A warm seaweed mask is applied to the body as you relax with a calming Thai facial and eye massage. A stress-relieving scalp treatment leaves you fully restored.
• Superfood Detox Wrap ($315) – The ELEMIS Superfood Detox treatment is a nutrient-rich wrap that provides powerful detoxification, helping stimulate the elimination process and restore equilibrium. Omega-rich Green Tea seed oil is massaged into the skin, followed by the thousand flower wrap with Chia to eliminate body toxins. A nourishing Green Tea balm, rich in minerals, proteins and omegas – the superfoods of the skin – is the final touch applied with a little extra massage, completely reinvigorating your body.
