Fontainebleau’s Famous Retail Sale Starts Saturday
Once a year The Fontainebleau has an amazing sale in which all of the unsold merchandise from their many stores – like IDAandHARRY, Aquamarine, Morris & Co, and Bleau Signature goes on sale for a deep discount. That means brands like Giuseppe Zanotti, Valentino, Aquazzura, Emilio Pucci, and Dsquared can be had for as much as 80% off.
There are also items from Lapis’ retail store, meaning you can score all kinds of accessories in addition to swimwear, shoes, men’s, women’s and even kid’s wear.
The sale isn’t just great because you can buy things at a deep discount, it also serves to highlight the Fontainebleau as a top retail destination with well-curated stores selling the world’s top brands. After all, if these are the items that didn’t sell.. you can only image what did. After all, IDAandHARRY recently made Haute Living’s list of Top 5 Trendiest Shoe Shops for the Haute Fashionista so you know that means they’ve got the goods on sale or otherwise.
This year’s sale takes place at the Fontaine & Fleur de Lis Ballrooms over three days (last year was four, so it might be a bit more busy) beginning Saturday, August 27 through Monday August 29th. Each day, doors open at 10am and close at 6pm. We suggest the usual sample sale tips… don’t come with a large or heavy purse, wear a skirt to try on pants easily and flip-flops so you can slip on some of those designer shoes. After all, they’re always the first to go, so preparation is everything. It’s always a good idea to bring a significant other or non-shopping friend to help you hold all the items you’re going to want to buy as unfortunately, there are no shopping carts, after all—this isn’t Bed, Bath and Beyond! Lastly, although they look really chic in the above picture, don’t bring your dog unless you’ve outfit him with a cart to hold all the aforementioned goodies.
